All Purpose Ointment

I think we all need an ointment at some point in time whether it is for paper cuts, rashes, bug bites or another other skin condition. This is simple, fast and works great at stopping itch and irritation.

Ointment
1/2 cup Olive Oil
1/2 cup Virgin Coconut Oil
2 T Beeswax pellets
4 Vitamin E capsules
up to 80 drops of essential oil (below is 75 drops total)

Measure and combine the olive oil, coconut oil and beeswax in a microwave safe glass dish, a 2 cup measuring cup works well. Heat in microwave for 1 minute and then stir. Return to the microwave and repeat for 30 seconds until beeswax is melted in the oils but not boiling.

Let cool until 120 degrees then add the essential oils and vitamin E. I puncture the capsules and squeeze the vitamin E out into my oils. Pour into a container or containers and let cool with the lid off. Once cool you may put the lids on.

You may use any combination of essential oils but here is one I've been using quite a bit of for rashes and eczema.
15 drops Frankincense
15 drops Lavender
15 drops Juniper Berry
10 drops Sandalwood
10 drops Helichrysum
10 drops Myrrh

Enjoy!
